Hi, I’m Anna. Welcome!
My clients, individuals and couples, typically seek me out for support with depression, ADHD/ADD, anxiety, high conflict management, conflict avoidance, suicidal ideation, grief and loss, stress management, and to learn how to set healthier boundaries with themselves and others. I have structured my practice with the intent to make it simpler for men, whether individually or as part of a couple, to get the support they need when they're ready. Therapy at Still Waters is a neutral zone where couples can freely explore their way toward solutions without having to worry about feeling “teamed up against.”
Everything from our online scheduling option to our physical space with a private in-suite waiting room (w/ coffee and refreshments) has been intentional - to help people rebuild what matters in a simpler way.
While healing is hard, getting started shouldn’t be. Appointments can be scheduled via text, call, or online via the Schedule Intake page.
Anna is licensed in Illinois (in-person and telehealth) and Georgia (telehealth).
Bruce is our Canine Good Citizen. He is a 3 year old American Staffy. Bruce is a rescue from a local shelter - he was a foster fail and officially adopted in August 2024. His story is one of courage, perseverance, community, and overcome: Bruce suffered from chronic rectal prolapses and a paraprostatic cyst that had him at high risk of euthanasia while being fostered, but our community rallied around him to give him a fair chance at a long, healthy life! And that’s exactly what happened - a whole bunch of baths, medications, special diets, countless vet appointments, and two surgeries later, Bruce is healthy, happy, and the goodest boy. My hope is that his story will be a reminder that healing is possible and it’s okay to accept help. He can’t wait to meet you!
Meet Bruce!
