Hi, I’m Anna. Welcome!

Still Waters Center for Counseling is created to be a therapy space for men and those who may normally feel uncomfortable sitting on a therapist’s couch to land and recalibrate. We all know of the seasons where it might feel like life is spiraling and spinning and it seems like it's taking every last bit to just hold on.

If this sounds like you and you have been wanting to give counseling a try either for the first time or one more time, thanks for being here. Everything from our online scheduling option to our physical space with a private in-suite waiting room (w/ coffee and refreshments) has been intentional - to help clients, teenagers/young adults, adults, and couples, rebuild what matters in a simpler way.

While healing is hard, getting started shouldn’t be. Appointments can be scheduled via text, call, or online via the Schedule Intake page.

Bruce is our Canine Good Citizen. He is a 3 year old American Staffy. Bruce is a rescue from a local shelter - he was a foster fail and officially adopted in August 2024. His story is one of courage, perseverance, community, and overcome: Bruce suffered from chronic rectal prolapses and a paraprostatic cyst that had him at high risk of euthanasia while being fostered, but our community rallied around him to give him a fair chance at a long, healthy life! And that’s exactly what happened - a whole bunch of baths, medications, special diets, countless vet appointments, and two surgeries later, Bruce is healthy, happy, and the goodest boy. My hope is that his story will be a reminder that healing is possible and it’s okay to accept help. He can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Bruce!
