Still Waters Center for Counseling is created to be a place for people who normally feel uncomfortable with therapy, even though they may have been wanting to give it a try. Everything from our online scheduling option and our physical space with a private in-suite waiting room (w/ coffee and refreshments) has been intentional - to help clients, teenagers/young adults, adults, and couples rebuild what matters in a simpler way.

While healing is hard, getting started shouldn’t be.

SERVICES

Couples therapy: sessions are guided by evidenced based practices, including the Gottman method and Internal Family Systems, to guide couples into stronger, gentler relationships.

Individual therapy: sessions are guided by Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a psychoeducation component to support teenagers, young adults, and adults toward increased distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills and as a result, reduction in symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression. Still Waters is also experienced in supporting clients processing grief and loss.
