Hi, I’m Anna. Welcome!

A bit about me:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker,

  • Marathoner,

  • Dog Mom,

  • Coffee and Water are my go-to drinks,

  • Humor, creativity, and kindness are important to me

Let’s rebuild what matters.

Bruce is our Canine Good Citizen. He is a 3 year old American Staffy. Bruce is a rescue from a local shelter - he was a foster fail and officially adopted in August 2024. His story is one of courage, perseverance, community, and overcome: Bruce suffered from chronic rectal prolapses and a paraprostatic cyst that had him at high risk of euthanasia while being fostered, but our community rallied around him to give him a fair chance at a long, healthy life! And that’s exactly what happened - a whole bunch of baths, medications, special diets, countless vet appointments, and two surgeries later, Bruce is healthy, happy, and the goodest boy. My hope is that his story will be a reminder that healing is possible and it’s okay to accept help. He can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Bruce!

Still Waters Center for Counseling is created to be a place for people who normally feel uncomfortable with “taking up space” or “talking about myself for an hour” even though they may have been wanting to give it a try either for the first time, or one more time. If this is you, thanks for being here. Everything from our online scheduling option to our physical space with a private in-suite waiting room (w/ coffee and refreshments) has been intentional - to help clients, teenagers/young adults, adults, and couples, rebuild what matters in a simpler way.

While healing is hard, getting started shouldn’t be.
